Personal Experience & Biography

Dr. Betzi Teran was born in Bolivia, where she received her medical degree at the Universidad Privada Del Valle in 2003. She completed her internship with honors at Univalle Hospital and her Pediatric residency at Lincoln Hospital doing rotations at various healthcare facilities including Montefiore Children Healthcare facility and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City City. Upon finishing her residency, she relocated to Dallas and joined the Pediatric Center of Mesquite, and currently practices at Pediatric Clinic of Sunnyvale.

Dr. Teran enjoys all aspects of general pediatrics but has a special interest in nutrition and developmental. She finds joy in traveling and spending time with her husband, Carlos, and their two children, Alexander and Stephanie.
